Online placement system for pharmacy grad training on hold till Jan 30

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry’s e-Pharmacist, a system that allows pharmacy graduates to apply for training placements, has been closed temporarily to rectify technical issues.

The Ministry, in a statement Sunday (Jan 22), said the system will reopen on Jan 30 (Monday) at noon until Feb 1 (Wednesday).

It said this is followed complaints by graduates applying for training placements for the Pharmacy Officer Grade UF41 starting Jan 19, 2023, where they had experienced access and lag issues, as well as training slot errors.

“The date of reporting to the Program Transformasi Minda (PTM) is maintained at Feb 13, 2023.

“The Health Ministry hopes all candidates involved will be patient and re-access this system on the appointed date,” it said.

The ministry noted that a total of 627 candidates were offered appointments and are required to choose a placement this session.
