HONOR X9, X8, and X7 Now Official In Malaysia: Price Starts From RM699

After weeks of teasers, HONOR has officially launched the brand-new X Series in Malaysia. Previously, we were under the impression that the family will carry three different members but at tonight’s launch event, another option has also been included for Malaysian release.

Specifically, HONOR has added the 4G version of X9 into the mix. While the 5G model is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, the 4G option comes with Snapdragon 680 processor instead.

Furthermore, the 4G model has a quad-camera module that features a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP bokeh camera. As a comparison, the X9 5G has a tri-camera module that includes a 48MP main camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP bokeh camera.

Both X9 versions still come with a 6.81-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage, 4800mAh battery, and the support for a 66W SuperCharge charger. Price-wise, the X9 5G goes for RM1,299 while its 4G counterpart is slightly more affordable at RM1,099.

Speaking about pricing, another member of the HONOR X Series family, the X8 will be made available for RM899. Down the line, there is also the X7 which carries a price tag of RM699.
