The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said in an update on social media that the incident involving a trailer and car at KM216 heading south has blocked the emergency lane and part of the left lane.

Those travelling that stretch have been advised to drive cautiously.

Meanwhile, LLM stated that traffic was currently moving slowly right before entering Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) complex from Singapore to Malaysia.

It was reported that traffic volume on highways and expressways will increase Friday (April 29) in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Muslims in Malaysia are expected to celebrate Hari Raya, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, on May 3.
