Here’s how the industry is helping fund raise for MERCY Malaysia to fight Covid-19

As the number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia increases daily, the health care industry is required to meet demands unlike ever before.

MERCY Malaysia is an international non-profit organisation focusing on providing medical relief, sustainable health-related development and risk reduction activities for vulnerable communities, in both crisis and non-crisis situation.

During this ongoing pandemic, MERCY Malaysia’s Covid-19 humanitarian fund is supporting the nation by providing support services, volunteers and supplies.

The supplies they provide using the funds raised, range from PPE suits and ventilators to sewing machines and awareness materials; essentially covering every touch point necessary to battle the pandemic that has to date, caused over 70 deaths nationally and 100,00 deaths globally.

MARKETING Magazine is rallying the industry to help fund raise for MERCY Malaysia by taking part in a series of CMO Roundtable sessions that is designed as a peer knowledge transfer and capacity up-skilling platform.

Using the vantage point and experiences of Malaysia Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) who will share their learnings plus an interactive rapid-fire Q&A format, over an hour-long CMO Roundtable session, we will discuss pointed questions that investigate the paradigm shift facing the world in 2020.

Price per participant is only RM200 and half of the proceeds will be donated to MERCY Malaysia, who will issue tax-exempt receipts for all participants. The names of participants and companies who sign-up for these all-win sessions will be published on .com.my as a MERCY Malaysia donor.

MARKETING will invest in the infrastructure, set-up, hosts and content to make this possible.
