Directors Think Tank named APAC Production Company of the Year
Directors Think Tank made Malaysia proud last week as they made it to the top of the list of the Production Company Table in Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 2020.
Out of the 44 submissions from the production company, 20 entries were accepted by The Work, which recognises the best advertising from Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Acceptances include productions across the Malaysian and Indonesian markets for clients including Maxis, Pantene, Axiata, KFC, Tokopedia, and Citra Pariwara.
“We are very proud and honoured to be ranked at no.1 and to be counted amongst such illustrious companies on the list,” said Film Director and Founder of Directors Think Tank Malaysia, Rajay Singh. “We are especially proud to be the first Malaysian company to be part of this ranking for three years in a row.”
Three years ago, the production company made it to the top ten and last year, it climbed up to second place before securing a spot at the very top of the list this year.
“We are grateful for the recognition of all the hard work that we have put in and we hope that we can continue to help push the creative standards of not only the Malaysian industry forward, but regionally as well,” Rajay said in an interview with MARKETING Magazine.
According to Rajay, the COVID-19 lockdown taught the production company the importance of leveraging on their resources, talent and to never stand still. He emphasised that positive growth and fostering young talent is not only necessary but essential.
“We at Directors Think Tank always try to do the best work creatively for our clients, and we are grateful that we were trusted by many brands across the region to push the creative and make effective communication work hard, even in these difficult times,” Rajay added. “We need to keep our heads down and keep pushing as we have some really exciting developments in the pipeline; we hope to share more exciting work in the near future.”
